The National Centre RUSSIA invites everyone to the opening of its branch in Vladivostok
On 7
September at 16:00, in the capital of the Primorye region — the city of
Vladivostok — a ceremonial opening of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA
will take place. The event on the Sportivnaya Embankment will include a festive
parade, a flash mob, and a concert.
Regional
branches of the National Centre RUSSIA are being created by Order of the
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the aim of showcasing
the country’s achievements, strengthening national identity, fostering pride for
the country, developing professional skills among children and young people,
and preserving the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO.
"On 7
September, we are opening the first branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the
Primorye region, in Vladivostok. It will become the heart of the region, a
place where traditions meet modernity, promising ideas meet new opportunities
for the whole country. Guests of the festive opening will enjoy a vibrant
programme: a ceremonial parade, a flash mob, gifts, performances by the best
music groups of the Far East and special guest stars," emphasised Natalia
Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The
programme of the ceremony will open with a large flag parade along the
renovated Sportivnaya Embankment. The celebration will continue with a grand
dance flash mob, a tradition that was first organised during the International
RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Moscow. The culmination of the event will be a concert
programme featuring creative groups and performers from the Primorye region, as
well as a special guest star. The most active spectators will receive memorable
souvenirs and branded prizes.
Residents
and guests of Vladivostok are invited to the opening at 4 Batareynaya Street.
The programme begins at 16:00. Admission to the event is free.

branch
The branch
of the National Centre RUSSIA in Vladivostok is a 2,500-square-metre space. The
modern centre includes exposition areas that reflect the achievements and
development projects of the Far East. Interactive expositions will allow guests
to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Primorye, where visitors will be
able to try themselves as captains, steering a virtual boat through the waters
of Golden Horn Bay, or go on a digital journey into the depths of the Sea of
Japan.
By the end
of the year, three more branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will open in
Sevastopol, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area and the Krasnoyarsk region.
The milestone visitor was Tatyana, a resident of Vladivostok, who came for a guided tour with her daughter and mother.
