The first tours took place at the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region
Ahead of its official opening, the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region hosted its first tours for schoolchildren. Children visited the expositions in organised groups. The young visitors highly appreciated the new interactive space and shared their impressions.
"I really enjoyed everything here. There are so many different expositions. Everyone should come. I liked the taiga most of all, but I think everyone will find something they like. I give it a good review," said Margarita, a student of Secondary School No. 18 in Vladivostok.
Other children were also pleased. Many pupils particularly liked the exposition "Unique Fauna of Primorye", which features the inhabitants of the Ussuri taiga: the tiger and the Far Eastern leopard. The groups also appreciated the exposition "Maritime Facade and Coastline", where visitors can take the helm of a boat cutting through picturesque bays.
In a conversation with the press service of the National Centre RUSSIA, the pupils also mentioned the interactive space "Education in the Primorye Region". They were especially interested in the opportunity to virtually "try on" a future profession.
On 7 September at 16:00, a festive programme will take place on the embankment of the Sportivnaya Harbour in Vladivostok, near 4 Batareynaya Street, to mark the opening of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region. Admission is free for all.
The celebration will begin with a performance by Tesla, the popular youth music band from Vladivostok. The programme will continue with a large flag procession along the renovated Sportivnaya Embankment, followed by a grand dance flash mob "The Beautiful Faraway", which has become a tradition since its first performance at the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Moscow. Afterwards, there will be a major concert featuring creative groups and performers from the Primorye region. A special guest will be the well-known Russian singer Eva Polna.
The event will be hosted by Alexander Pstyga, the official voice of the Admiral hockey club (Vladivostok), and Anastasia Borodina, presenter of the Moscow 24 TV channel (Moscow).
The first thousand guests will receive kokoshniks from the Patriotka brand, handmade using traditional techniques but with a modern twist. The most active spectators will also receive other memorable souvenirs and branded gifts.
Those unable to attend can watch the event live on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA and on the OTV Prim television channel.
