Vladimir Putin visits the first branch of the National Centre RUSSIA
President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Vladivostok
after his visit to China, where he took part in the Shanghai Cooperation
Organisation summit and in the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of
Victory in the Second World War.
As part of
his working trip to the Far Eastern Federal District, Vladimir Putin visited
the Primorye branch of the National Centre RUSSIA, located in the city of
Vladivostok.
The head of
state is expected to tour the exposition presenting the history, landmarks,
achievements and development projects of the Primorye region. The
President will also view a stand dedicated to the heroism of the 155th Separate
Marine Brigade.
The
Primorye branch of the National Centre RUSSIA is a 2,500-square-metre space
located in the building of the former aquarium. It features expositions
that reflect the achievements and development projects of the Far East.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Primorye and try their
hand at being a captain by navigating a virtual boat through the bays and
gulfs, or go on a digital journey through the depths of the Sea of Japan.
The
National Centre RUSSIA was created by order of President of the Russian
Federation Vladimir Putin to showcase the achievements of our country,
strengthen national identity, foster a sense of pride in the nation, develop
professional skills among children and youth, and preserve the legacy of the
International RUSSIA EXPO.
By the end
of the year, several more branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will open in
Sevastopol, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area and the Krasnoyarsk region.
In the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the National Centre RUSSIA is launching the nationwide survey "Where Does the Motherland Begin?".
The second day of the II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" was intense and vibrant.
The Russian leader noted that the ideas born at the Open Dialogue will continue to spread and will ultimately lead to real change.
