The Career Marathon was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
Representatives of more than 50 companies from various industries presented their vacancies and offers to the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO, as well as talked about job prospects at the Career Marathon, which was held at the Exposition in Pavilion No. 55 "Home of Youth".
The marathon is organized by Moscow Polytechnic University in cooperation with Rosmolodezh.Career. Its goal is to provide career guidance to students and inform them about potential employment opportunities.
"Rosmolodezh assists young professionals in finding their vocation and a place of work that will inspire new accomplishments and career growth every day. We try to support young people in their professional development. The "More Than Career" Center at the RUSSIA EXPO was created to fulfill these goals. Here, young people are provided assistance in building an individual career trajectory, are told about job vacancies and employer requirements in various industries, and are given career guidance events and trainings to improve their professional and personal skills. These opportunities will be used by more than 500 thousand young people who will be able to get acquainted with more than 80 thousand vacancies from different sectors of the economy," said Oleg Makarov, Advisor to the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
Representatives of Severstal, Tech-Com Holding, TMH Engineering and Metrowagonmash Service spoke to the students of specialized universities about career opportunities.
The company's employees also informed about vacancies. Thus, Severstal needs "young and promising personnel in production," Tem-Com Holding needs employees for modern production sites, TMH Engineering is considering young scientific staff, and TMH Metrowagonmash Service will consider candidates for fitters and foremen.
Nikolay Syutkin, one of the students from Moscow Technical University, said that the event helped him decide on his future employment choices.
"This event was an incredibly pleasant experience. Initially I went with friends to keep them company, but I was really delighted with the way everything was explained in an open and accessible way. There have been a few employers I've had my eye on before. But today I have identified a favorite. I now have a real desire to go to work for one of the companies represented here," said Nikolay Syutkin.
Experts will examine the opportunities and risks associated with integrating artificial intelligence into various spheres of life.
Experts from Russia and Symposium participant countries will talk about the effects of multipolarity and other global megatrends.
The Symposium will be the first event of the Russia National Centre.
