Russia, let's go! Meet Cosmonautics Day at VDNH!

April 12 is drawing near, on this day our Exposition was supposed to end, but President Vladimir Putin extended its work until July 8. All residents of the country - even in the most remote corners - have an opportunity to see Russia's achievements for themselves.

A new phase at the Exposition will be devoted to the future of our country. After all, as the President said, now is Russia's time: "We are reaching a completely different level of challenges we face in order to bring the country to a new level of development by accomplishing them". It is symbolic that the new phase will start on April 12, on the Day of Cosmonautics, a field in which our country has been a world leader for decades.

"A program for guests of all ages is planned for that day. One of the significant events will be the procession 'Time of Russia! Time Forward!', which will start with a flash mob 'Charge to the Future' at 17:00, the participants will hear a new arrangement of Georgy Sviridov's composition 'Time Forward'" said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.

The procession will start from the Northern Loop of VDNH.

18:00 - 20:00, Concert "Time of Russia! Time Forward!"

The Main Street Stage will host performer Mot, singer Ksenia Dezhneva, the most "cosmic" group "Zemlyane", residents and show-ballet of the art-cluster "Tavrida" and the choir "Movement of the First".

18:00 - 18:30, Wedding Ceremony "Light of NewStars"

The ceremony in the "Space" pavilion will epitomize the celestial union of newlyweds, embodying the romance and grandeur of space. Four couples from space cities will take part in it, and the rings will be presented to them by a Roscosmos robot.

 18:40 - 18:50, Car Parade "Time Forward!"

 Cosmonauts and newlyweds will drive along VDNH in Aurus, Evolute and legendary GAZ-21 cars. The car parade will end with the handover to couples of the flame of the Family Hearth "Heart of Russia", which was lit at the Exposition and delivered to all regions of the country.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 10 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
