Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov met with second-grade pupils of a Moscow school at the RUSSIA EXPO in Pavilion No. 57. The head of the Russian Ministry of Education gave a tour of the immersive exposition dedicated to the evolution of the Russian education system and its achievements.

"The exposition of the Ministry of Education of Russia is very popular among adults and children. Such expositions about the history of Russian education will be opened in all Russia - My History parks. Starting from elementary school we should tell pupils about the achievements of our country, which we can rightfully be proud of. At the exposition children not only immerse themselves in the school atmosphere of different historical periods, but also learn what opportunities are available to them today," said Sergey Kravtsov.

The multimedia exposition Education: Big Changes is divided into 19 thematic zones and provides an immersive journey through time. In the first hall the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation introduced second-graders to the system of national education of the Soviet period, showed them letter books, pioneer ties and other attributes of schoolchildren.

Then, together with Sergey Kravtsov, the children watched a video about the difficult epoch of the 1990s, the consequences of which they learned about in the Elevator Hall. They noted that it was this thematic zone of the exposition that impressed them the most.

Elementary school children also visited the Ministry of the Future, Kindergarten and School spaces. The head of the Ministry of Education reminded the second-graders that a teacher is the main profession on earth, because it is teachers who bring up outstanding scientists, writers, statesmen and musicians. A separate section of the exposition is devoted to the modern system of vocational guidance of schoolchildren, where the kids got acquainted with various specialties of secondary vocational education.

At the end of the event the pupils - participants of the program Eaglets of Russia - visited the Childhood Center of Pavilion No. 57, where they took part in games organized by counselors of the All-Russian Children's Center Orlyonok, the famous eagle dance, got acquainted with the staff of the Center, and received souvenirs.
