"We flew for 8 hours, and it was worth it!": impressions of the guests at the RUSSIA EXPO
Tomorrow,
the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to
July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests. People came from all
over the country to be part of this grand event, and no one was disappointed.
Alina
Yegorova lives in Khabarovsk but visits her sister in Moscow every year,
usually in the fall. However, for the sake of the RUSSIA EXPO, she decided to
change her plans and managed to come just two days before the closing.
"We
didn't know until the last minute if we'd be able to get tickets. I had heard a
lot about the Exposition, and I really wanted to see it with my own eyes, and
show it to my kids. I'm glad everything worked out! So far, we've only been to
one pavilion – Pavilion No. 75, which I understand is the main one, and it
features all the regions. And it's so amazing! My boys have already done some
shooting, ridden bikes, controlled a train and climbed into a hot air balloon.
We participated in a quiz, although we only won consolation prizes, it was
still nice, and we might still get into a masterclass. Even if there was only
one pavilion at the Exposition, it would still be worth flying here for 8
hours," the guest assured with a smile.
According
to Alina, she and her children will be exploring the Exposition today and
tomorrow until it closes. After all, they have a whole list of pavilions and
activities to visit.
Guests from
the Belgorod region also managed to visit the Exposition just before it closed.
Olga Chausova, Elena Dudkina and Ivan Kiselev came to the capital specifically
for the RUSSIA EXPO.
"Yesterday
we spent the whole day in Pavilion No. 75, we went through it completely, from
beginning to end. We have friends and relatives from all over the country. We
wanted to send greetings to each of them from their home region's stand. And,
of course, it was very pleasant to see our Belgorod exposition, it's unique and
stands out among the others," the guests shared. Today they plan to visit
other pavilions and, of course, drop by the "Future in Flowers"
festival.
Sergei
Zaitsev from the Tver region has visited the Exposition multiple times, but he
brought his younger son Stepa here for the first time. The lively boy didn't
get lost among the many activities and immediately headed for the climbing wall
at the Far East stand. Back home in Tver, he has been practicing climbing for
two years.
"My
impressions are very positive, especially since there are so many activities
for children here. They definitely won't get bored. The Exposition turned out
to be wonderful, it's a pity that it's ending," said the man.
Oksana
Krasnova, on the other hand, has been to the Exposition many times, but today
she took a guided tour for the first time and literally rediscovered RUSSIA
EXPO and VDNH.
"I
live in Moscow, so I often come to the Exposition. I was here at the opening in
November, and I've seen all the pavilions. But I always came with friends or
relatives, we mostly chatted and took photos, and we weren't always attentive.
Today, I came alone for the first time and accidentally joined a guided tour.
It's a completely different experience, I learned so much! The RUSSIA EXPO is
also a very powerful educational project," the girl shared her opinion.
Let us
remind you that the RUSSIA EXPO runs until July 8 inclusive. On Monday,
Pavilion F "Gazprom" is open until 15:00. Pavilions No. 75, Z
"Army to Children", B "Prirodograd", D "Our
Culture" and V #betterbytrain are open from 18:00 to 22:00. To enter the
park area, you need to pass through the central entrance arch.
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Every day, for eight months, the RUSSIA EXPO delighted guests and gave unforgettable emotions.
The International RUSSIA EXPO has come to an end. Dismantling of expositions has already begun at VDNH.
