Deputy Presidential Envoy to the Urals Federal District visited the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra
A meeting was held in Khanty-Mansiysk between the Deputy Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Urals Federal District, Boris Kirillov, heads of relevant departments, and the team of the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra. The discussion focused on preparations for the fifth anniversary forum "Patriots of the Urals", which will be held in March 2026 at the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra.
"'Patriots of the Urals' forum is more than a meeting. It brings together thousands of people who, through their daily actions, demonstrate what true patriotism means. They do good, support our defenders, and strengthen national unity. Yugra is a region with tremendous strength of spirit and proud labour traditions that has always served as a pillar of the country. That is why it is symbolic that such a forum will be held here, at the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra. Here, among stories of feats and achievements, new energy of good and a sense of responsibility for the future of the country are born," noted the Deputy Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Urals Federal District, Boris Kirillov.
The meeting included a detailed discussion of the programme of the upcoming "Patriots of the Urals" forum. It will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk from 17 to 19 March. Volunteers, representatives of public organisations, and political structures — all those who systematically support the front and participants in the special military operation — will gather at the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra. The key topics will include support and rehabilitation of servicemen, patriotic education of young people, exchange of experience within the #WEARETOGETHER initiative, and the development of interregional cooperation. A total of 1,240 applications from 43 regions of Russia have already been submitted to participate in the forum.
Deputy Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy Boris Kirillov also assessed the modern technical equipment of the halls and the interactive installations of the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra. Guests were given a guided tour of the main exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA, "See Yugra — Fall in Love with Russia!"
"The Centre is impressive. You can immediately see that this is a project that inspired people and was implemented with real dedication. The President’s decision to create such National Centres across the country is the right step: they help people touch the past and feel the future. This is exactly how — through living experience and emotion — a genuine love for one’s homeland is nurtured," said the Deputy Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Urals Federal District, Boris Kirillov.
