The expert session will be held on 5 September at the first branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region.
"Perhaps it is worth starting with regional or sub-regional coordination. It is important to understand what role existing trade agreements may play, what lessons they give us, and what preconditions are needed. For example, digital identities, interoperability, common standards," Rupa Chanda says. "At the Open Dialogue, I will emphasize the need for standards, cooperation, exchange of practices and harmonization of regulation. The greater number of countries makes experiments, the higher the risk of regulatory fragmentation. Therefore, it is important, especially for the countries in the Global South, to work on regulatory convergence."
