The National Centre RUSSIA became a platform for dialogue, exchange of experience and creative interaction for senior volunteers of the regional branch of the All-Russian political party United Russia. Representatives of government and public organisations congratulated the older generation. The forum brought together many participants, confirming that age is no obstacle to an active, eventful life.

"You are not just the senior generation for us, you are the guardians of traditions. We learn wisdom, patience and love for the Motherland from you. Your work and participation in the life of the region set a worthy example for young people," said Vsevolod Romanov, Deputy Secretary of the regional branch of United Russia.

State Duma Deputy Alexander Shcherbakov noted: "You have lived a glorious life, and we value your willingness to share your experience. It is very important when the older and younger generations understand each other."

The festive atmosphere was set from the very beginning by a flash mob: performers in folk costumes danced to the song "Mother Earth", and the audience repeated the movements. After that, the lecture block began. Specialists from medical organisations spoke about modern methods of treatment and disease prevention. Representatives of the Russian Red Cross shared their experience of helping older people. Everyone was able to have their hearing tested free of charge.

The next theme was style and confidence. A stylist-coach held a workshop on modern approaches to image, and the lecture "Appearance as a Resource for Success" encouraged participants to look at familiar things in a new way.

The formal part of the forum opened with the performance of the National Anthem of Russia. Welcoming speeches were delivered by representatives of the United Russia party, deputies of the State Duma and the Vladivostok City Duma. Participants were thanked for their active stance, good neighbourliness and support of social initiatives.

The Primorye branch of the National Centre RUSSIA also hosted an awards ceremony. Commendations were presented to volunteers who had shown the greatest activity in developing senior volunteering, supporting participants of the special military operation, preserving cultural traditions and organising large-scale events.

Congratulations to silver volunteers were also extended by Vladivostok City Duma deputies Artem Volodin and Vyacheslav Glushko, representative of the "Living in Primorye" headquarters Yekaterina Ivlieva, Adviser to the Governor Olga Chirkina and other guests. They all highlighted the huge contribution of older people to the development of the region and presented them with well-deserved awards.

A highlight of the event were tours for participants around the Primorye branch of the National Centre RUSSIA. Guests explored multimedia expositions dedicated to the natural, scientific and industrial diversity of the region.

The forum programme also included intellectual tournaments in draughts, chess and Go. For many, this was not just a competition but an opportunity to socialise and make new friends. In addition, participants tried their hand at drawing and board games.

The festive block followed. Choirs and ensembles "Ryabinushka" ("Rowan Tree"), "Rodnye Napevy" ("Native Tunes"), "Vospominanie" ("Remembrance"), "Ulybka" ("Smile"), "Chaika" ("Seagull") and others performed on stage. Songs about the Motherland and friendship resonated warmly with the audience. The poetic part followed, with heartfelt poems recited from the stage. The forum concluded with a colourful hat parade.

The forum demonstrated that the older generation remains active, creative and willing to share their experience with the young. Yulia Shevchenko, specialist of the Vladivostok city district branch of United Russia and curator of volunteer work, noted that senior volunteering has a positive effect on older people — they become active, feel needed by society, find friends and like-minded people, spend time together and even form couples.
