The branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region hosted a meeting of senior city volunteers. Here, the lecture "The Art of Volunteer Coordination" brought together those who manage volunteer teams every day and help to create the atmosphere at events.

The programme included lecture blocks, training sessions, practical tasks and role-playing games. Participants learned effective team communication, planning and delegation of tasks, and also discussed how to motivate volunteers and support them in the conditions of intensive work.

Special attention was paid to the development of leadership qualities and the ability to make quick decisions in non-standard situations. Role-playing games and the modelling of real cases helped to consolidate knowledge in a format as close to reality as possible.

An equally important part of the meeting was an open dialogue about the challenges of the volunteer environment: from emotional burnout to the lack of quality communication within teams. The discussion not only highlighted the problems but also helped to develop new approaches to solving them.

"We strive not only to educate but also to inspire those who coordinate volunteer teams. Such events help to look at routine work in a new way and to find fresh ideas for development," noted Ulyana Vlasenko, Head of the Volunteer Development Department of the Vladivostok Youth Resource Centre.

At the end of the meeting, participants developed practical recommendations and plans for optimising the work of the volunteer community. Each of them left not only with new knowledge but also with the determination to apply it in real life.
