Great Patriotic War veteran Lidia Ivanovna Negoda congratulated residents of Primorye on the opening of the National Centre RUSSIA branch
A festive event dedicated to the opening of the National
Centre RUSSIA branch in the Primorye region took place in Vladivostok. The
ceremonial event was attended by Great Patriotic War veteran Lidia Ivanovna
Negoda.
During the Great Patriotic War, Lidia Ivanovna served in a
military unit that maintained fighter aircraft and took part directly in the
struggle against Japanese aggressors. Next year she will celebrate her 100th
birthday.
"I congratulate you on this wonderful palace — the
National Centre RUSSIA. I envy the young people very much, because they are
receiving such a wonderful gift. This is absolutely right, because young people
are our future. They are building the life ahead for themselves and the new
generation," said Lidia Ivanovna Negoda.
The veteran also noted that caring for the younger
generation is a very important aspect. She wished the young residents of the
Primorye region to preserve what is being built and always be professionals in
everything they do.
