The National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk region welcomes delegation from China
The development of trade and economic ties between the
Krasnoyarsk region and the Urumqi region, the economic and cultural centre of
China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was the goal of a working visit by a
delegation from the People's Republic of China. The key point of the guests'
route at the National Centre RUSSIA in the heart of Siberia was the
"Energy of People — Energy of the Krasnoyarsk Region" exposition.
Urumqi is a major and the most dynamically developing city
in northwestern China, with a population of over two million people. This is
the first visit of representatives from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to
the Krasnoyarsk region.
"I would like to thank the hosts for an amazing tour!
Seeing your region in person for the first time, and visiting the National
Centre RUSSIA, I was sincerely impressed. Here, you didn't just show but truly
revealed the soul and capabilities of the region. Everything is presented
vividly, systematically, and inspiringly. This visit allowed me to see the
enormous potential for partnership in a new light. I am confident that we have
many points for interesting and promising cooperation," said Liu Qinglian,
Chairman of the Board of the Alliance-International Trade Cooperation company.
Particular attention of the Chinese guests was drawn to the
stands of gold mining and metallurgical enterprises, but a real sensation was
caused by the 30-square-metre interactive model of the Krasnoyarsk region.
Here, the delegation had a chance to speak with the head of the project group,
who explained that 100 people worked on the model, and the work itself was
completed in an incredibly tight timeframe — in just three months.
"When I heard that the model of the Krasnoyarsk region
was made in just three months, I was astonished, as it is a great effort! It is
clear that very much knowledge, intellect, and labour were invested here. For
us, this means that the Krasnoyarsk region residents are very hardworking
people. Russia is a great friend and a reliable partner. We have seen here
enormous strategic potential for cooperation," shared Liu Qinglian.
The "Energy of People — Energy of the Krasnoyarsk
Region" exposition occupies over five thousand square metres. The
exposition consists of 21 thematic zones, each telling visitors about the
history, culture, industry, and social achievements of the Krasnoyarsk region.
Its main goal is to spark interest in the region's historical, cultural,
recreational, and industrial potential.
The exposition is open to all comers. Guided tours are free
of charge, but require pre-registration on the website of the National Centre
RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk region.
