Friends of the National Centre RUSSIA prepared gastronomic surprises
To mark the opening of the journey-style exposition "Book of Fairy Tales", friends of the National Centre RUSSIA – the Shalyapin bar and the Savva restaurant, led by Brand Chef Andrei Shmakov – have prepared special gastronomic surprises for guests. These offerings will be available at the venues until 1 March 2026.
The Shalyapin bar has unveiled the magical winter cocktail "Morozko", created by Head Bartender Sergei Petrov. Its flavour captures the essence of a fairytale winter – the coolness of the first snow, with notes of vanilla and gooseberry and a light hint of eucalyptus freshness.
At the Savva restaurant, guests can enjoy the dessert "Firebird" by Head Pastry Chef Artyom Grachev. A true winter miracle, it combines delicate sea buckthorn ganache with honey persimmon, complemented by bright accents of mandarin, star anise and citrus sorbet.
The "Book of Fairy Tales" exposition opened at the National Centre RUSSIA on 13 December. It is dedicated to legends, crafts and fairytale archetypes of Russian folk culture. Eight regions of the Russian Federation are represented in the exposition, presenting their stories about the land, its people and traditions.
The city of Grozny, holder of the honorary title "Cultural Capital 2025", has passed the baton to Omsk.
"Winter Wizards" is a festival that brings together fairy tale characters and legends of the peoples of Russia.
On 15 December, the grand opening of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk region will take place.
