Guests at the RUSSIA EXPO learned to paint on canvas and were introduced to the "Kuvyatka" doll
The Days of Municipalities of the Kirov Region at the International RUSSIA EXPO continued with the city of Vyatskiye Polyany.
The "Kuvyatka" amateur puppet theater, founded by Natalya Nikolayevna Ilyina in Vyatskiye Polyany, was present at the region's stand.
The theater delighted Exposition visitors with amazing performances. The main characters were various types of puppets - life-sized, glove, felt, rod, and even finger puppets. Each puppet was handcrafted by members of the amateur association with love and creativity.
Visitors also had the opportunity to enjoy the play "Vyatskaya Tyutyunka," created by Natalya Ilyina, based on the folk tale "Ryaba the Hen", using the Vyatka dialect.
Additionally, there were fascinating workshops: one on making the "Kuvyatka" doll and another with artist Alexander Ilyin, where each participant could feel part of the creative process by painting on a single canvas.
Participants discussed the contribution of regional authors and small publishing houses to Russian science and shared their experience of engaging with non-fiction literature.
Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA took part in a workshop on festive table setting in the "a la russe" style.
While preparing for their debut, the children did not simply memorise texts, but also learned how to bring them to life and find their own individual style.
