Innovations in the field of upbringing discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The opening ceremony of the season of the program "Voice of a Generation. Teachers" was held at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Pavilion No. 461 "Smart City". The program includes lectures, group work, unique masterclasses and tours of the Exposition.
"We approach education in a comprehensive way: initially we launched the program "Voice of a Generation. Vice-Rectors" aimed at profile training of vice-rectors for youth policy. Today we combine and integrate the launched programs so that colleagues in each of the universities do not work in isolation from each other. This is an important task, and it should be understood that according to the Federal Law on Education, today this process includes upbringing as well. Teaching and upbringing have become a single process. A good teacher, of course, is an example for his students. And what they broadcast during classes, settles in the minds of students, forms as a certain opinion about various events. That is why it is important for teachers to work together with the vice-rector for youth policy," said Dmitry Pokrovsky, Director of the Department for State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
According to him, last year quite a large number of teachers have already been trained, this year the program will be expanded even more. Now the second flow is already underway, and there will be many more during the year. According to Dmitry Pokrovsky, this will be of great benefit to the faculty community.
The flagship educational program "Voice of a Generation. Teachers" was developed in 2022 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation together with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). In 2023, the initiative united more than one and a half thousand participants from eight federal districts.
The main goal of the project is to form a community of teachers who have skills of system management in the field of youth policy and translate traditional values and new methods in working with youth.
"In our university, several teachers have already participated in this program - we have heard enthusiastic feedback from them. Another reason such events are very important is the communication with colleagues who also implement the program," said Rimma Fattakhova, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at the Eastern Economic and Legal Humanitarian Academy of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The teacher shared her observation that students are very interested in new techniques, various interactive forms, which give a new opening for both the teacher and the student. According to the professor, the usual traditional forms are going into the background, and young people are interested in something in a playful format, unlike traditional classes: "We should be interesting to our students".
