Stories that shape the future: Open Lecture Hall at the National Centre RUSSIA
An Open Lecture Hall titled "Inventing the Future:
Plots and Stories" will take place at the National Centre on 7 February.
It is going to be a conversation about how storytelling helps find new answers
to eternal questions and is becoming the language of the future.
One of the programme’s parts explores the theme
"Stories in Advertising and Consumption". Participants will discuss
how brands transform a product into a personal experience, what role stories
will play in tomorrow's consumption model, and which formats of brand
narratives will become defining.
"I help people turn stories into a tool for
communication — an ethical and effective one. At the 'Inventing the Future'
Open Lecture Hall, I will share how such a humane and sincere tool as stories
functions in advertising today, and how it is changing in the era of modern-day
communications, large language models, and other innovations. There will be a
lot of practical and useful insights — not only for advertising but for life in
today's world," invites Artyom Mushin-Makedonsky, business storytelling
expert and founder of the Historia Academy.
Among the speakers will also be Ivana Kirkbride, co-founder
of NorthStar Media Group and former head of projects at Google, Verizon, and
other international companies. Together, they will propose viewing storytelling
as a universal tool shaping meanings and the future of communications.
