Russia will perform ninth at the International Music Contest "Intervision"
Popular singer Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov), who represents Russia at the International Music Contest "Intervision", will perform ninth. This became known during the draw, which took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. The contest will be held on 20 September.
"How do I feel about the result of the draw? I am number 9. It is September now — the ninth month. So, I think it is very symbolic. But the most important thing is not the number. The most important thing is the quality of the performance. I expected to be in the first ten. And that is practically what happened," said Yaroslav Dronov. "Rehearsals are in full swing, we will see what happens on 20 September. By the way, I invite everyone."
Answering questions from journalists, Shaman also noted that he does not feel stressed before the event. However, before going on stage, he will follow his ritual: "I will cross myself three times and then go on stage."
"Intervision-2025" is an international music contest that will take place on 20 September at the Live Arena in the village of Novoivanovskoe in the Moscow region. The idea of reviving the contest arose when in 2022 Russia was deprived of the right to participate in "Eurovision".
Performers from 23 countries are taking part in "Intervision-2025", including Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Colombia, Cuba, and others.
