Seminar for specialists in the field of patriotic education
An educational seminar for specialists in the field of
patriotic education was launched at the RUSSIA EXPO. On one platform in the
Home of Youth it united more than 100 specialists, representatives of regional
executive authorities and state institutions, employees of regional centers of
patriotic education, as well as Heroes of the Russian Federation and
participants of the special military operation from all over Russia, including
youth policy specialists from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson
and Zaporozhye regions.
The seminar is aimed at improving approaches to patriotic
education in Russia by raising the professional level of competence of
specialists, leaders of non-profit organizations and public associations that
implement state youth policy.
"In 2023, more than 90 thousand Russians took part in
the activities of the Rospatriot program in person, including both the youngest
schoolchildren and already established specialists in the field of patriotic
education, who work with people that hold the future of Russia in their hands,
as well as participants of the SMO, who are ready to become mentors for the
younger generation. Our projects are for those who love the country and are
ready to develop it together, offering their ideas, which we are always happy
to support. This dialog with young people and those who work with the younger
generation is especially important for us to improve the quality of our
projects and see meaningful results in the system of patriotic education,"
said Elena Belikova, Director of FSBI "Rospatriotcenter", Doctor of
Political Sciences.
Representatives of the Rospatriot program spoke in detail
about the patriotic projects that are planned for implementation in 2024, as
well as the key approaches to annual events. They particularly noted the
All-Russian contest of mentors "To Be Rather Than to Seem", supported
by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the meeting of the State Council on the
issue "On Increasing the Role and Prestige of Educators and Mentors"

head of state. The competition was first presented by Alexei Kutyrev, head of
the All-Russian service project "Your Hero", a demobilized serviceman

During the three days of the seminar, specialists will gain
skills in implementing modern practice-oriented methods of organizing thematic
work. The seminar will feature panel discussions and open dialogs aimed at
