The capital’s "Nika" school presented its best practices at the National Centre RUSSIA
On December
25, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a presentation of the best practices of
one of Moscow's largest private general education institutions — the
"Nika" school. The event was the second in the framework of the
project "Open School: Presentation of Best Practices," organized by
the National Centre.
"Open
School: Presentation of Best Practices" is a series of interactive
lectures aimed at sharing experiences and ideas among young teachers, students,
graduates of pedagogical universities, and interested parents.
"Today,
we are hosting 'Nika' — a unique school with a rich history and love for its
students. The National Centre RUSSIA is a space where you can grow, learn
something new, and spend time with friends. We are open to everyone! The next
participant in the 'Open School' project will be the Lyceum of the Higher
School of Economics on January 18, and starting in February, the National Centre
RUSSIA will launch a regular educational program — you can attend fascinating
lectures every Thursday," said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General
of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The
"Nika" school is one of the largest private schools in Moscow, comprising
five branches with over 1,200 students. "Nika" students regularly
participate in Russian and international competitions, olympiads, festivals,
and conferences. The school also actively collaborates with international
cultural and educational organizations.
"We
are already grown-up, serious, and responsible: next year, our school will turn
30. We were founded on the remnants of a disbanded school, where a small team
of professionals who loved their work remained, along with children who
believed in us. By the way, it was our students who came up with the name
'Nika' — as a symbol of victory. And now, our graduates are bringing their own
children to the school. When we ask them if anything needs to change, they all
say, 'Don’t change a thing: we feel at home here.' Because our primary mission
is to ensure that our children are resilient to all challenges and upheavals,
knowing they have strong support behind them. And, as our leader Vladimir
Vladimirovich always taught us, we take the best of Russian education and the
best the world has to offer," said Irina Rubleva, founder and director of
the EANO "Nika" School.
The
speakers shared how the "Nika" school has developed over the past 30
years, showcased the institution's best practices, and exchanged experiences
with colleagues from other educational institutions. Topics included the role
of tutors in school education, the mission of foreign language teachers,
teaching students and parents conflict resolution skills and fostering
trust-based relationships, implementing international projects, and organizing
the school’s psychological support services.
The
presentations focused on key events and practices that have elevated
"Nika" to the status of one of the most successful educational
institutions in the capital.
The
National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian
Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA
EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a
permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations,
and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
The
National Centre RUSSIA is located at 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow.
The Centre is open from 10:00 to 20:00 every day except Monday.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
