Tuva will present attributes of shamanism at the RUSSIA EXPO
Attributes of shamanism, Buddhism and Orthodoxy, as well as clothing of clergymen of different confessions will be presented by the Republic of Tuva in its exposition.
The Tuva delegation plans to present the region’s cultural traditions and talk about the importance of interfaith tolerance at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
"The task of our pavilion is to show the interconnection of traditional culture with the culture of the tribes that inhabited the territory of Tuva. Over the millennia, Tuvan culture has absorbed elements of the cultures of other tribes that inhabited the territory of Tuva at different times. In January in our pavilion we will display the theme of interfaith tolerance, within the framework of which religious attributes of shamanism, Buddhism and Orthodoxy will be exhibited", — said Svetlana Tulush, the deputy director for scientific and methodological work of the Aldan-Maadyr National Museum of the Republic of Tuva.
As a reminder, the National Museum of the Republic is actively working on the creation of the exposition of Tuva. Masters of the museum are making items for the exposition. Among them are a traditional yurt, a stuffed horse of Tuva breed, a scaled-down model of the sculptural composition of the Center of Asia.
