An official awards ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian contest of journalistic works in the field of education "PRO Education 2025" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 12 December. This year, more than 4,500 entries from across the country were submitted to the 23rd edition of the contest. The ceremony became the central and concluding event of the All-Russian seminar for press secretaries in the education sector.

On stage, creators of media content were honoured as winners in the following categories: "Media Perspective: The Modern School and the Pedagogy of the Future", "Traditional Spiritual and Moral Values: From Generation to Generation", "Honouring the Victors: Marking the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War", "85 Years of the Secondary Vocational Education System: A History of Labour, Craftsmanship and Mentorship", "VideoCLASS: An Educational Podcast", "Youth FOR: Environmental Initiatives", "Pioneers of Digital Solutions: IT in Education", "Education for All: An Inclusive Environment", and other creative contest categories.

Awards were presented to the winners and prize-winners by prominent public figures, representatives of leading media outlets, educational institutions and partner organisations. The youngest participants in the contest — winners and prize-winners in the category "School in Focus: Children Speak and Ыhow" — received their well-deserved certificates from the Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Anastasia Zvyagina.

"A unified information space is important for any sector, but especially for education, because you are shaping the future. I am confident that your voices will now be heard even more clearly. For me, it is a particular honour to present this category to our young journalists, because I once graduated from the journalism school at Moscow State University and remember the confidence it gave me. At the National Centre RUSSIA, we also run children’s projects. The first of these is the Young Tour Guides School, and next year we will open a Young Journalists School. The most important and high-profile events in the country take place in our space every day, which means our young journalists will gain invaluable practical experience. I sincerely admire all the nominees: you are all so young, talented and full of enthusiasm. Believe in yourselves and your dreams, be confident in yourselves, your families and your country, love it and cherish it. And please, speak more often in your articles and reports about civic responsibility, explain what it means, especially to your peers," Anastasia Zvyagina said in her address to the young participants.

The All-Russian creative project "PRO Education" serves as a platform for open dialogue between the state and professional journalistic teams as well as individual authors, and as a tool for public recognition of their contribution to covering and promoting the life of the Russian school system. The contest gives authors from media outlets, online platforms and blogs across Russia an opportunity to showcase their achievements.

Entries are evaluated by an expert council comprising representatives of executive authorities in the field of education, members of the academic community, media professionals and partners. The main selection criteria include social relevance, accuracy and depth of coverage of issues related to professional education, clarity and expressiveness of presentation, and compliance with the standards of modern journalism.
