The National Centre RUSSIA announced the launch of the seventh season of the All-Russian contest "Bolshaya Peremena"
The seventh season of the All-Russian contest "Bolshaya
Peremena" ("Big Change") — the country’s largest project for
children and teenagers — was launched at the National Centre RUSSIA on 28
March. This year, students in grades 1–7 are invited to take part. Registration
for them is open on the project website until 30 May 2026, while applications
for senior school students and college students will open in April.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the
Russian Federation Olga Petrova highlighted the importance of the contest for
children and teenagers across Russia: "For many participants, 'Bolshaya
Peremena' is the first serious step towards their goals and dreams. It is an
opportunity to try themselves, believe in their abilities, and gain new
experience. It is especially important that mentors and parents are always
alongside children on this path, supporting them and helping them not to give
up. I wish all participants courage, confidence, and good luck!"
This year, the project launch was held for the first time in
the format of a large tea gathering that united the entire country. Children,
parents, mentors, and partners of the contest gathered at one table. Regions
across Russia joined the live broadcast, and each meeting concluded with a good
deed. At the same time, the nationwide campaign "Kindness at the Shared
Table" took place, while a "Good Deeds Counter" tracked the
growing number of acts of kindness performed by participants on the day of the
launch.
"For six years, 'Bolshaya Peremena' has brought
together seven million children and teenagers from across the country. The
contest has given participants the opportunity to fulfil their dreams, helped
them believe in themselves, and gain teamwork experience. Since last year,
'Bolshaya Peremena' has become part of the national project 'Youth and
Children', launched on the instruction of the President of Russia. By taking
part in the contest, participants go on to develop in other projects of the
Movement of the First, implement their own social initiatives, and join
volunteer activities. In the new season, participants will be able to
demonstrate themselves in teamwork and find like-minded peers," said Head
of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov.
Hero of Russia, participant of the presidential programme
"Time of Heroes", and Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the
First Artur Orlov also took part in the ceremonial launch of the seventh season
of "Bolshaya Peremena".
"'Bolshaya Peremena' is the flagship project of the
Movement of the First. It is a contest for everyone who wants to make our
country better. Here, everyone can reveal their talents, gain useful skills,
find like-minded people, and implement their initiatives. A new season always
means new opportunities. I am confident that this year even more active school
students and college students will join us — those who are ready to take
responsibility and achieve results. It is precisely these young people who
represent the future of Russia," said Artur Orlov.
Participants were also welcomed by Hero of Russia,
participant of the presidential programme "Time of Heroes", and
Director of the Department of State Policy in Education, Additional Education,
and Children’s Recreation at the Ministry of Education of the Russian
Federation Igor Yurgin: "Over six years, 'Bolshaya Peremena' has grown
significantly and has become part of the national project 'Youth and Children'.
Today, it is a true community that shapes the future leaders of our country. I
wish all participants to remain open, kind, and courageous, to show initiative,
fear nothing, and always move forward!"
Director General of the presidential platform "Russia —
Land of Opportunity" and Rector of the Senezh Management Workshop Andrei
Betin emphasised the importance of "Bolshaya Peremena" as a space
where young people’s abilities are revealed and a strong sense of
responsibility for their future and society is formed.
"'Bolshaya Peremena' is an entire ecosystem where a
child becomes the author of their own path, where talent does not go unnoticed,
and where a dream receives not only recognition but real support. The
presidential platform 'Russia — Land of Opportunity' has supported the project
since 2020, and during this time we have seen the main thing: 'Bolshaya Peremena'
changes how young people see themselves and their future. Families come
together here, real teams are formed, and the very foundation on which our
tomorrow rests is built. The seventh season is another step in raising a
generation for whom service to their work, school, city, and country is a way
of life. I am confident that this season will bring us new leaders —
thoughtful, responsible, and ready to take responsibility," he said.
The event was attended by winners and finalists of previous
seasons, mentor teachers, heads of ministries and departments, as well as
representatives of major Russian partner companies.
The All-Russian contest "Bolshaya Peremena" is the
flagship project of the Movement of the First. It is held with the support of
Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Education of Russia, and the Ministry of Science
and Higher Education of Russia. Since 2025, "Bolshaya Peremena" has
been part of the national project "Youth and Children". The contest
is included in the portfolio of projects of the presidential platform
"Russia — Land of Opportunity".
Two original youth projects of the National Centre RUSSIA came together on 28 March at the exposition "Journey Across Russia".
The event will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow from 27 to 29 April.
The unity of the peoples of Russia is not limited to family or friendly ties, but extends to everyone.
