The Final of the Contest "Startup as a Diploma" took place in the National Centre RUSSIA
On June 27, more than 400 contestants of the "Startup as a Diploma" tournament gathered at the National Centre RUSSIA: students from different regions of Russia, experts, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, universities and government authorities. 14 finalist teams presented their startups to an expert jury.
The winners of the contest are:
The 1st place — startup "Innovative Glass pebble"#PROSteklo", State University of Management
The 2nd place — startup "Automated Irrigation System — Control'S", Russian State Agrarian University — Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy"
The 3rd place — startup "Recyclix: plastic recycling", Far Eastern Federal University"
As part of the Final, the results of thematic tracks supported by the contest's partners were also summed up.

The 1st place — "Interfab Digital Service for Additive. Manufacturing", Perm National Research Polytechnic University.
The 2nd place — "The service for automation of estimated calculations "NeuroSmetchik", Perm National Research Polytechnic University.

The 1st place — "Development of software-hardware complex for face recognition with application of a neural network and AIAFR (Ai Agent Face Recognition) Input Image Quality Improvement Technology", Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev.
The 2nd place — AI VetScope, Russian State Agrarian University — Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy".
The 3rd place — "Software package for monitoring and management of mining farms on graphics processors", Bryansk State Technical University.
The competition was supported by more than 30 partner organizations, including big corporations, accelerators, universities, foundations, and professional associations. The winners and finalists received individual mentoring programs; expert advice; the access to acceleration tracks; opportunities for internship and enrollment in specialized education programs, as well as invitations to pitch-sessions in front of investors and industry experts.
A partner of the contest, the Russian Society "Knowledge, organized a unique interactive format for the children. They had gotten an opportunity to test their knowledge in the qualifying "Knowledge. Game: Universities" tournament, and to win prizes. The winners of the "Startup as a Diploma" contest, whom the Russian Society "Knowledge" helped to determine, received from the Society board games, books, and coupons for training courses.

Today, you are presenting not just graduation papers, but solutions which provide the prospects for economic growth and sustainable development of our country. With your participation in the tournament, you confirm that the Russian universities have real leaders of change, who can shape the future. I wish you to have confidence in your abilities, a bright ending, and the realization of the most daring and progressive ideas for the benefit of our Motherland," Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, said in his welcoming address to the Finalists.
Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, stressed: "The "Startup as Diploma" competition shows how important it is for students to have the support of mentors and partners. We continue to work on creating a full-fledged ecosystem of youth entrepreneurship, which will unite universities, industrial partners, entrepreneurs, and governmental authorities. It is important that students could not only study, but also have the opportunity to develop and scale their startups, which will contribute to the innovative growth of their region, and the whole country."
The final became an important part of the large-scale joint work of university teams, students, mentors and partners in the development of the youth entrepreneurship.
