Volunteers of the National Centre RUSSIA receive badges of distinction from the Moscow Government
Active volunteers of the National Centre RUSSIA Irina Ilyina, Svetlana Ponomareva and Lyudmila Tsingova have been awarded the Moscow Government’s badges of distinction, First Class. The award ceremony took place on 5 December, Volunteer Day.
Irina Ilyina, Svetlana Ponomareva and Lyudmila Tsingova have supported the organisation of numerous partner and flagship events, including the II Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts", the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future", the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World" and many others.
On 5 December, the volunteers received the highest award for their contribution to the development of Moscow’s volunteer movement.
"In Moscow, more than 1.5 million caring residents help every day. This is a true example of kindness and humanity. Thank you so much!" congratulated the volunteers the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin.
For their work, they have repeatedly received letters of appreciation from Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Natalia Virtuozova for their active participation in the volunteer programme and contribution to promoting the values of volunteerism.
"Every small gesture of support, every kind word – all of this is part of a greater shared strength that makes the world a better place. I am proud to be part of the volunteer team of the National Centre RUSSIA and I believe that together we can make the world kinder," said Svetlana Ponomareva.
