"All the flavors of the country under one roof": guests of the National Centre RUSSIA share their impressions of the Gastronomic Rows
The
diversity of culinary traditions from the regions of the country is reflected
in the Gastronomic Rows of the National Centre RUSSIA. Traditional cold
appetizers and hot dishes, as well as popular authentic sweets, are presented
in four thematic zones: "South", "North", "West",
and "East". Guests of the exposition spaces of the National Centre
RUSSIA share their impressions of regional cuisine.
"I
never thought that ukha fish soup could be so delicious! Its 'eastern' version
is a whole new level compared to what my husband and I make at home," said
Marina, a guest from Reutov with a surprise.
Each
thematic zone is not just about food, but also about immersing oneself in the
traditions of hospitality and folk feasts.
"I
just tried Ossetian pies with potatoes and cheese. Now I understand why they
are called the soul of Ossetia," shared Artyom, a student from Moscow.
Guests
admit that the dishes in the Gastronomic Rows remind them of their childhood.
"Pelmeni
in the 'West' zone awakened a pleasant nostalgia in me: they taste exactly like
my grandmother’s on the Urals!" exclaimed Yelizaveta Portnyagina, a
Muscovite.
Visitors
are convinced that both the discerning adult and the curious child will find a
dish to their liking in the gastronomic rows of the National Centre RUSSIA.
"My
daughter is thrilled with the vareniki dumplings here. She says they are
tastier than any cake," assured Yevgeniya, a mother of two.
The
Gastronomic Rows at the National Centre RUSSIA are open every day, except
Monday, from 10:00 to 21:00.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
