The All-Russian Forum of School Presidents opened at the RUSSIA EXPO
Pavilion No. 57 in the hall of the Russian Society
"Knowledge" hosted the opening ceremony of the first All-Russian Forum of
School Presidents, which united leaders of councils of students of general
educational organizations and educational advisors to principals from all
regions of Russia.
The forum takes place from May 13 to 16 in Pavilion No. 57,
as well as at the sites of VK Central Office and Letovo School. The training
event is held to create a space for the exchange of experience in the
organization of various forms of student self-governance between the heads of
student councils of general educational organizations.
Sergei Kravtsov, Acting Minister of Education of the Russian
Federation, joined the opening ceremony online. Also, the Director of FSBI
"Rosdetcenter" Alexander Kudryashov and the Chairman of the All-Russian Public
Organization "Russian Union of Youth" Pavel Krasnorutsky took part in the
solemn event.
"The Ministry of Education is doing everything to ensure
that Russian schoolchildren receive quality education. Educational institutions
have built a system of educational work based on traditional spiritual and
moral values, special attention is paid to the development of patriotism in
children. The All-Russian Forum of School Presidents will allow students not
only to reveal their talents and find like-minded people, but also to offer us
their ideas for improving the education system. The children will also share their experience
and visit the Moscow Letovo school — one of the best international schools. I
wish you productive work and further success," said Sergei Kravtsov.
The educational blocks of the forum include lectures,
masterclasses, strategic sessions for school presidents and educational
advisors to principals, which are devoted to modern technologies of
organization and development of student self-governance. Within the framework
of the intensive event, leading experts will tell children about current
approaches to the implementation of their initiatives in general educational organizations,
introduce them to teamwork technologies and advanced methods of leadership
development, and Childhood Navigators will help to design an educational route
for the effective activity of children's self-governance in schools. The
thematic platforms will be attended by 267 people, of which 178 are school
presidents, 89 are advisors to principals and 20 are representatives of the
children's organizing committee.
"Leaders of student self-government very soon will set the
vectors of development in all spheres of our country. The forum united
teenagers who are able to look several steps ahead and lead their peers. The activity of children in the
Councils of Students — their first experience of building a team of like-minded
people, finding solutions to pressing issues together with the school
administration, parent community and educational advisors of principals,
actively involved in the development of student self-governance," said the
director of FSBI "Rosdetcenter" Alexander Kudryashov.
The forum will discuss student self-governance in general
education organizations. The
kids will also present the results of the Business Game "Russia of the future
through the eyes of the leaders of the Councils of Students" to Sergei Kravtsov
— the image of the future of Russia in 30 years and a roadmap for achieving the
goals.
"I think it is no exaggeration to say that the Council of
Students is the heart of our school. I am glad that every year in our country
there are more and more opportunities for a unique exchange of experience and
knowledge in the field of student self-governance, because there are thousands
of schools in Russia, where wonderful children, burning with this cause, study.
I am sure that together with children and teachers, or better to say, like-minded
people, we will spend our time at the Forum as useful, productive and fun as
possible," commented Milena Yastrebova, educational advisor to the principal of
school No. 85 in Nizhny Novgorod.
The organizers of the large-scale educational intensive event
is the FSBI "Russian Children and Youth Center" with the support of
the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The partners in the
organization of the educational marathon are Movement of the First, the Russian
Society "Knowledge", the Russian Union of Youth, the Department of Education
and Science of Moscow, the International RUSSIA EXPO and the Letovo School.
