Multiple world and European champion in canoe sprint Ivan Shtyl visited the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region. The athlete shared his impressions with the press office of the National Centre RUSSIA.

"Of course, this is a unique place that showcases our beloved Primorye region, its sights and treasures. I would like the content of this centre to continue developing, and for every resident and guest of the region to visit this wonderful place," said the athlete.

Ivan Shtyl is one of the most decorated canoeists not only in Russia, but also worldwide: an athlete of the Sports School of Olympic Reserve of Primorye and the Regional Centre for Sports Training, an Honoured Master of Sport, silver medallist of the London Olympic Games, 19-time world champion, 16-time European champion, multiple medallist of world championships, multiple winner and medallist of World Cup stages, and 65-time champion of Russia. In August 2025, together with his partner, he once again brought gold to Russia at the World Canoe Sprint Championships in Milan.

Excursions in the centre are open to all free of charge. To join, visitors need to register on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region and choose a convenient date and time. Tours are held daily, except on Mondays, from 10:00 to 20:00. Groups are limited to 15 people, and the programme lasts 90 minutes. Subject to availability, visitors may also join without prior registration.
