The branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region hosted a meeting on the prospects for developing the federal project "Childhood Navigators". School principals’ advisers from Vladivostok and experts from the regional Rosdetcentre discussed the key areas of work.

"The 'Childhood Navigators' programme is one of the key projects of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, actively implemented in the Primorye region since 2023. At present, 358 schools are involved in this project. Today’s event was aimed at enhancing the skills of school director advisers from Vladivostok," said Oksana Novikova, Head of the Department for Upbringing, Supplementary Education and Recreation of the Ministry of Education of the Primorye region.

She noted that school principals’ advisers are "universal soldiers" of our time, building a climate of cooperation with parent communities.

"Advisers to school principals are pedagogical staff who organise and develop the educational process in schools, introducing federal programmes and initiatives. Following the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, from 2026 such staff must be present in every school," added Oksana Novikova.

The meeting’s programme included discussions of the project’s key areas of work in Vladivostok. Experts from Rosdetcentre and school principals’ advisers shared their experiences in implementing initiatives, discussed issues encountered and ways to resolve them.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, plans include the implementation of the Leadership and Upbringing School programme "Creating the Future", the School Theatre Festival, the "Best Eaglets Class" competition, and at the end of the year — the Parent Community Forum.

A separate session was dedicated to the implementation of the "Eaglets of Russia" ("Orlyata Rossii") programme. The regional curator of the Primorye branch of the Eaglets and Rosdetcentre specialist Irina Zubova reported that nearly three thousand classes, more than three thousand teachers, and almost 65,000 primary school students are now involved in the project.

The meeting served not only as a platform for sharing experiences but also for finding new solutions to unite director advisers, parents, and children in a common cause — raising a generation ready to look confidently into the future.

After the event, the participants joined a tour of the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye and viewed the expositions dedicated to the diversity of the region.

Excursions are open to all free of charge. To join, visitors need to register on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region and choose a convenient date and time. Tours are held daily, except on Mondays, from 10:00 to 20:00. Groups are limited to 15 people, and the programme lasts 90 minutes. Subject to availability, visitors may also join without prior registration.
