The mountain ranges of Primorye are one of the natural riches of the region. Everyone can see them at the virtual exposition and learn more about the region’s ski infrastructure at the National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Primorye region.

The Sikhote-Alin mountain range separates the region from the continent and forms its unique relief. Its mountain complex was shaped as a result of tectonic movements, volcanic activity and erosion. Thus, a landscape was formed where the severity of the stone and the beauty of the wild taiga coexist.

The interactive exposition at the Centre invites all comers to travel through these mountains. A three-dimensional screen brings to life the slopes of mount Obzornaya and the mysterious silhouettes of mount Pidan, the amazing rock complex Dragon Park and the Lozovy Ridge, or Chandalaz, where nature seems to keep traces of thousands of years. Using a tablet, you can learn more about the ski resort "Arsenyev", the natural features of the peaks, vegetation, and about folk legends associated with these places.

The "Mountain Peaks of Primorye" display helps to take a fresh look at the natural heritage of the region, and to feel the spirit of Primorye — not by climbing the peaks, but by reaching them by means of technology.

All visitors are welcome to join the guided tours free of charge. To do so, they need to log in on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye and choose a convenient date and time. Tours run daily, except Monday, from 10:00 to 20:00. Groups are formed of up to 15 people, and the programme lasts 90 minutes. Visitors without prior registration may join if there are available spots in the group.
