"The Irkutsk region is the golden link of Russia" - this is the slogan under which the Angara region or Priangarye is presenting itself at the International RUSSIA EXPO at the VDNH in Moscow.
The Irkutsk region's stand fully reflects the concept of the exposition: in the center there is a circular portal symbolizing a strong connection between the past and the future.
Next to the portal there is a large video wall screen showing information about scientific discoveries, cultural riches, and technological achievements of the region. Inside the portal there is also an additional video screen to show stories on various topics.
Unique exhibits will surely attract visitors: a model dedicated to the Architectural and Ethnographic Museum "Taltsy" and a copy of the sculpture "Guardian of Baikal" by the Honored Artist of Russia Dashi Namdakov are installed near the portal. Everyone can try on boots made of jade by Irkutsk region stone-cutters or assemble a model of the MS-21 passenger airliner from puzzle pieces.

The Irkutsk region's exposition stand at the RUSSIA EXPO has been updated
Ice is melting on Lake Baikal, but the Irkutsk region's stand at the International RUSSIA EXPO has already thawed. The stands of all Russian regions, located in Pavilion No. 75 at VDNH, have changed their decorations and set a course for summer.

Visitors to the stand of the Irkutsk region at VDNH can hear the sounds of the unique nature of Lake Baikal
Visitors to the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH can now hear the sound of the surf on Olkhon Island or the crackle of Baikal ice. At the exposition stand of the Irkutsk region, an interactive sound panel with several headphones shaped like Baikal pebbles has started working. They broadcast various sounds of Baikal nature: ice music, summer wind in the grass, noise of old barges in a storm and even a walk with a flock of fish and a bear's winter sleep.
