Painted Vyatka craft items

The Kirov region is renowned for its distinctive crafts and souvenirs, among which the famous Vyatka matryoshka (nesting doll) holds a special place. The craft items are made from environmentally friendly wood, painted by hand, and coated with protective materials. Particularly popular are matryoshka dolls inlaid with rye straw.

In addition to matryoshka dolls, local artisans offer a wide selection of original souvenirs decorated with traditional Vyatka painting: plates, chopping boards, boxes, Easter eggs, bells and other items. Unique Dymkovo clay toys made from red clay are also presented here. Each toy is a unique work created by a single master, who works on it at every stage of the creative process.
