photograph was taken at the annual Yatra of Shri Vitthal Birdev, held in the
village of Pattan Kodoli in Hatkanangale Taluka, near Kolhapur in Maharashtra.
It is a celebration of the birth of Shri Vitthal Birdev Maharaj, considered an
incarnation of the god Vishnu. The shepherd community gathers here, eagerly
following the Divine Procession to pay homage to the Almighty!
