Over 3,500 people attended the opening of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Krasnoyarsk

The National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Krasnoyarsk region has been visited by over 3.5 thousand people. The official opening of the new space took place on 15 December. The key feature of the new branch is the permanent exposition "The Energy of People — The Energy of the Krasnoyarsk Region", which introduces guests to the region's achievements.

"We believe that for all the diversity of natural resources and the riches of the region, the most important thing is, of course, people. The National Centre is designed for the whole family. Everyone will find interesting activities here: children, parents, and grandparents. You can come together, see the history of our region, see the history of the development of Siberia and its progress," said the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region, Mikhail Kotyukov.

The space, spanning over 5,000 m², consists of 21 thematic zones and tells visitors about the history of the Krasnoyarsk region, its landmarks, cultural, industrial, and economic achievements, and social opportunities. The exposition is built on the principle of energy circulation: from the powerful sphere of industry — to the living force of nature, from the environment — to people, and from people — to the future, embodied in education, youth, and professions. The region is presented as a single living organism where every resident contributes their energy, thus creating and multiplying the strength of the Krasnoyarsk region.

"It is here that what the Krasnoyarsk region is proud of today is presented, and here are our most daring plans and our boldest ideas. It is meant for the young people, who are the first guests of our Centre today, to see this future, see pride in the historical victories of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers. And it is here that we will together create the future of our home Krasnoyarsk region and multiply the might of our great, dear Russia," emphasised the Governor.

In the "First Impulse" gallery, guests are greeted by an interactive statue of the bogatyr (epic character) named Yenisei; touching it triggers light impulses along the walls and a broadcast of a video showing the beauty and wealth of Siberia on the screen. The next hall, "Heart of the System", introduces visitors to the region's economy, and to leaders of creative industries and brands that the Krasnoyarsk region is proud of. Further on, guests see the potential of the Siberian land at the "Region’s Depths" stand.

The "Breakthrough Beyond the Horizon" zone provides an opportunity to learn about space technologies and the oil industry. The next exposition presents Siberia as the land of heroes and is dedicated to participants to the special military operation. The "Living Foundation" zone introduces guests to nature and agriculture. The vibrant "Land of Impressions" zone demonstrates the territory's tourism opportunities. The interactive model of the Krasnoyarsk region, "Territory of Time", covering over 30 m², allows for a journey across the region from north to south, to see the Sayan mountains and the snowy polar tundra.

Furthermore, the exposition features stands of the largest companies in the Krasnoyarsk region (RUSAL JSC, Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant, SUEK JSC, Norilsk Nickel PJSC, Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant “Krastsvetmet” JSC, Polyus PJSC, "Komandor"). A key point on the route will be the "Russia" gallery. It will explore the diversity of the Russian Federation, its regions, language, and symbols. Industry galleries of the region's leading enterprises show how energy is generated, coal is mined, and metals are smelted. All these processes unfold before the visitors' eyes.

"Our interactive exposition is opened by the bogatyr named Yenisei. This figure is deeply connected to our region; it greeted visitors and was the main guide at our stand at the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Moscow and later, when the exposition came to Krasnoyarsk, to the 'Heritage' display. We wanted to bring it here, to the National Centre RUSSIA, and today it opens the journey across the Krasnoyarsk region. The opening of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk region can be considered the main event of the outgoing year 2025," said Alexander Chernikov, Director of the ANO "Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries".

The National Centre RUSSIA branch in Krasnoyarsk has become the successor to the venue in Primorye and has passed the baton to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra, where the opening of a National Centre RUSSIA branch will take place on 16 December 2025.
