"First Neurocontent Cup" concludes in Krasnoyarsk
The third Hackathon of the "First Neurocontent
Cup" has ended. It was held with the support of the Government of the
Krasnoyarsk region, and took place as part of the opening of the National
Centre RUSSIA branch in Krasnoyarsk. 85 creators from various regions of the
country dealt with cases on the theme: "The Krasnoyarsk Region of the
Future is...". The winner was the team called "Yav i Nav"
(Reality and Phantom). The project partner, ANO "Artificial Intelligence
Technology Development", will sign a contract with them, providing 500
thousand roubles to produce socially significant content.
The cup was presented to the participants by Alexei Zharich,
Deputy Head of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects.
"I am very happy that the first event held at the
National Centre branch in Krasnoyarsk was exactly the 'First Neurocontent Cup'.
It set the standard for all future events to be held at this venue. The cup
brought together extraordinary people passionate about their work, and I am
confident that all events at the National Centre in Krasnoyarsk will be the
same. We could not even imagine that the idea of bringing together teams that
create neural content would become so successful. Such content is the future;
it gives people the opportunity to realise themselves. And we will continue
travelling along this path. The Presidential Executive Office will work to
ensure that children, young people, and generally everyone who wants to engage
in and be passionate about this, has the opportunities to do so,"
emphasised Alexei Zharich, Deputy Head of the Presidential Directorate for
Social Projects.
This is the first time the hackathon under the special
project was held not in Moscow, but in Krasnoyarsk. This not only allowed
scaling up the Cup but also attracted more talented content creators from all
corners of our country. The largest number of applications came from entrants
in the Krasnoyarsk region. Moreover, the winners in the project's first case,
"A Multinational and Multicultural Family!", were the team
"Octopus" from Krasnoyarsk. They also received the Audience Choice
award from the expert jury.
"For the first time, the Neurocontent Cup has gone
beyond Moscow. The unique abilities of the participants in these competitions
are particularly in demand today. It is no coincidence that this Cup is part of
the presidential platform 'Russia — Land of Opportunity'. Mastering modern
technologies, the ability to work with artificial intelligence — these are necessary
conditions for achieving the goals of technological leadership. I am confident
that all contestants will continue their journey in this most interesting
direction," noted Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region.
24 teams participated in the "First Neurocontent
Cup". They specifically came to Krasnoyarsk to compete for the main prize
and demonstrate their skills in generating videos using AI. As many as 614
applications were submitted for participation in the Cup from 82 regions of Russia
and foreign countries (the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Abkhazia, the
Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Moldova). During the event, teams worked
on cases covering various topics: "Tourism: Protected Taiga and
Gastronomy", "A Multinational and Multicultural Family",
"Scientific Developments and Innovations", and "Future
Professions for Youth".
At each stage of the Cup, the contestants were evaluated
against such criteria as speed of performance and quality of the created
content, and their tasks covered the full production cycle: from generating
text and images using neural networks to creating animation and assembling the
final video. Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre
RUSSIA, took part in the award ceremony. She delivered a welcoming speech and
wished the contestants good luck.
"Dear participants, you are the very people who prove
that the future is being created today. Every one of the projects presented
today by you is a synergy of human capital and digital intelligence. Your work
confirms that opportunities are born where there is the courage to think fresh,
experiment, and combine what seems uncombinable: the logic of code and the
flight of imagination. May this day become a moment of recognition for you, a
moment of meeting like-minded people, and a starting point for big
projects," emphasised Andrey Betin, Director General of the presidential
platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity" and Rector of the
"Senezh" Management Workshop.
The project's expert jury included: Deputy Director General
of the National Centre RUSSIA Anastasia Zvyagina; Director of Marketing and
Analytics at the presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity"
Mikhail Gusev; Director of ANO "Artificial Intelligence Technology Development"
Gennady Guryanov; Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk region Tatyana
Gridasova; Deputy Head – Head of the "Regional Management Centre"
service of the "Centre of Information Technologies of the Krasnoyarsk
Region" Anna Osikova; Head of the IT company "Kedy Professora"
(Professor’s sneakers), winner of the "Russia — Land of Opportunity"
award Konstantin Yegoshin; Deputy Director General of Media Wise company,
co-chair of the ARIK "Ai/Ml" committee Victoria Kolesnikova; and
Director of Territory Development at Corporation 1T, federal projects
"Code of the Future" and "Personnel for BAS" Yevgeny
Luzganov.
"We are pleased that holding the 'First Neurocontent
Cup' is already becoming a tradition, and participating teams then continue to
compete in our other projects. Recently, the Internet Development Institute
(IDI) held its first competition to select neural content, and 60 percent of
the teams that won in the first two stages of the Cup, took part in it.
Notably, the conversion rate of participants — those who started filling out
applications and completed them — was 10 percent higher than in other IDI
competitions. This shows that all participants are focused, competent people
who approach creating quality content responsibly. Remember: meaning is still
imparted by a person, and you will certainly succeed," noted Alexei
Goreslavsky, Director General of the Internet Development Institute.
The "First Neurocontent Cup" is more than just a
competition; it reflects a trend where thousands of people use neural networks
as a key tool for creating socially significant, constructive content, and the
state encourages them in this. In Krasnoyarsk, specialists managed not only to
expand professional connections and demonstrate their abilities but also to
form a community of content creators directly influencing the formation of the
country's future media landscape.
"Today at the 'First Neurocontent Cup', we definitely
have the strongest line-up of participants across all three stages. At the same
time, the first two hackathons have already helped form a professional
community of content creators and an entire support system for talented IT
specialists in our country. For participants, this is an opportunity to create
unique, positive content about Russia's achievements that will be seen by
everyone," added Gennady Guryanov, Director of the ANO "Artificial
Intelligence Technology Development".
On the eve of the third hackathon, the "First
Neurocontent Cup" won the "Runet Prize — 2025" in the special
nomination "Competitive AI Content Project". The project was scored
high by the jury for its relevance, alignment with strategic trends, and
creation of a practical platform for mastering AI technologies. Receiving one
of Russia's most authoritative IT awards demonstrates the key importance of the
competition both for the IT community and for the entire country.
Previously, the "First Neurocontent Cup" media
hackathon was held at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow as part of the II
International Symposium "Inventing the Future". A total of 416
participants from 70 regions of Russia and the Republic of Abkhazia registered
then. Experts selected 99 individuals, who formed 27 teams. The contest works
focused on the common theme "Russia of the Future is...". The video
by the winning Moscow team "KROLIKI" (RABBITS) amassed over one
million views.
The "First Neurocontent Cup" is a special project
under the presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity", aimed
at supporting specialists who create content relevant for state and commercial
structures using neural networks. It unites content managers, copywriters,
video makers, motion designers, and AI creators, and allows many people to show
how new technologies can be used to shape a positive, constructive image of the
country.
The "First Neurocontent Cup" of the presidential
platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity" was conducted jointly with
the Internet Development Institute, the National Centre RUSSIA, and ANO "Artificial Intelligence Technology Development". The special project
is held as part of the national project "Youth and Children".
