150 years of service: Belyaev-Leshchenko teaching dynasty honoured at opening of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Ryazan Region
Family is the foundation of continuity — a place where traditions are preserved, new aspirations are born and talents are nurtured. When the work to which parents devoted their lives is continued by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a family history becomes part of the history of an entire region. On 5 October 2026, as part of the official opening ceremony of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Ryazan, the Belyaev-Leshchenko teaching dynasty was honoured for its 150 years of combined service.
The family of teachers received congratulations from a family of performers — Anastasia Beliavskaya and Oleg Sidorov of the NANSI & SIDOROV duo, together with their daughter Aelita. They performed the song "From A to Z", joined on stage by Ryazan families representing different generations. The performers also congratulated everyone gathered on the opening of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Ryazan Region.
"It is an amazingly beautiful place, a wonderful place to spend time with your family, to bring joy to our children and to discover as much as possible about the culture of our great and beautiful country," the performers said.
The Belyaev-Leshchenko teaching dynasty spans four generations who have devoted their lives to education and raising children. Together, they have accumulated 150 years of professional service. The dynasty was founded by Maria Sachkova, who began working as a teacher of Russian language and literature during the Great Patriotic War. The generations that followed continued her vocation, becoming teachers of a wide range of subjects and winners of professional competitions.
In recognition of their many years of dedicated service and commitment to teaching traditions, the dynasty received a commemorative gift from the Governor of the Ryazan Region.
The NANSI & SIDOROV performance formed part of the central section of the ceremony, built around the word "RUSSIA". Each letter became a separate chapter in a shared story about the country, love for the Motherland, pride in one's region and a personal contribution to the future. The second "S" was dedicated to the family ("semya" in Russian) as the foundation of a strong state.
The new National Centre RUSSIA branch in Ryazan is the first in the Central Federal District and the fourth in the country. It is located within walking distance of the Ryazan Kremlin and the Ryazan VDNH and forms part of a major pedestrian route connecting historic landmarks and modern public spaces.
The opening ceremony featured a concert programme as well as business, cultural and educational events, attracting more than 9,800 visitors.
