156 thousand people visited the RUSSIA EXPO on the first working day in 2024
The International RUSSIA EXPO was visited by 156 thousand people on January 3, the first working day of this year. This is a record attendance since the opening day on November 4, when more than 190 thousand people visited the Exposition.
The RUSSIA EXPO resumed its work on January 3, after two technical days, during which the specialists were updating the expositions and preparing to welcome the guests. Visitors were offered a special New Year program. First of all, it is aimed at families with children. For example, in Pavilion No. 2 SBER there was a masterclass on creating a New Year cartoon - children created characters, worked out their personalities and dialogues, and then produced animation on a cartoon station for frame-by-frame shooting. In addition, the children were taught folk painting of dishes at the Exposition. There were also a Parade of Ded Morozes and a concert by VK, where Tosya Chaikina and DJ Groove performed at the Exposition on January 3.
On December 31, the Exposition also attracted great interest - more than 120 thousand people visited the events on that day. The guests of the Exposition were residents of all 89 regions of Russia, including participants of the Special Military Operation and their families. Many of them planned their trip to the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in advance.
In total, nearly 4 million people visited the RUSSIA EXPO during its first two months of operation.
The central theme of the meeting was the image of Dagestan in 2030.
Sergei Melikov emphasised that the Government of Russia provides systemic support to the republic in implementing the large-scale Caspian Coastal Cluster project.
The central event of the festival will be an exposition of 59 prototypes of games and toys developed by the contestants in five thematic areas.
