Fresh flowers and musical numbers will be waiting for visitors to the stand of the Republic of Karelia on International Women's Day. The Republic of Karelia is preparing a campaign "Tulips from Karelia to Russian Women" for March 8 at the Exposition. 5 thousand fresh flowers, carefully grown in the northern region, will be delivered to Pavilion No. 75 as a gift to the visitors of the region's stand. Celebrating International Women's Day and flowers gift-giving at the stand will start from 10:00.

From 10 to 12 o'clock Alexander Mogilev, the ambassador of Karelia at the Exposition - choreographer of the TV shows "Dancing on TNT", "New Dances" and "Bolshoi Ballet", winner of the show "DANCE" on "Channel One", winner of the ballet award "Soul of Dance" - will congratulate the fair half of humanity and present Karelian tulips.

The male instrumental duo "Kantele" will perform at the stand of the Republic at 11:30, 13:30 and 16:30. Karelian artists will play accordion and violin compositions for women.

In addition, from March 5 to 10 in Pavilion No. 48 a food fair from Karelian producers will be held for the third time during the exposition. Visitors will again be able to buy favorite products from the Republic. The assortment will include jams, preserves, pastila, marmalade, berry-based sweets, Karelian Ivan-tea, bases for berry drinks, seaweed jellies. The guests will be able to treat themselves to fish from Karelia.

And in the Department Store zone (Pavilion No. 75) souvenir products are also sold: products made of shungite, leather and Karelian birch, gold sewing and many others. There is a wide range of gifts for March 8 and other holidays.
