African journalists praise the National Centre RUSSIA
Foreign journalists and bloggers from Africa who visited the National Centre RUSSIA for the first time were impressed by the venue's beauty, scale and atmosphere. They noted that the space was vibrant and multifunctional, and well suited to hosting events in a wide range of formats. An extensive business programme has been prepared for the participants of the events held at the National Centre RUSSIA, featuring more than 40 thematic sessions and panel discussions with around 100 speakers, as well as meetings with bloggers, masterclasses, the signing of agreements and a cultural programme.
One of the first to share his impressions of the National Centre RUSSIA was John Kioria Kireru, a journalist, news editor and political reporter for Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, a state-owned broadcaster.
"This is my second visit to Russia, but my first time in Moscow. The
National Centre RUSSIA is magnificent, with so many interesting architectural
details. You cannot help but be amazed by the amount of work that has gone into
this place. I am genuinely impressed. And people in Russia are so warm and
welcoming, even though it is very cold outside," said John Kioria Kireru.
According to Zainab Ayoka Olufemi, a correspondent for Nigeria's The Nation Newspaper who is visiting Russia for the first time, the National Centre RUSSIA proved to be far more vibrant, multifunctional and beautiful than she had imagined.
"I had heard about the National Centre RUSSIA before, but I thought it was
just an ordinary showcase venue. Now I can see that it is completely different:
it is beautiful, the lighting is wonderful, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
The people here are beautiful, too. I am very happy to be in this wonderful
place today," said Zainab Ayoka Olufemi.
Content creator and traveller Taher Mohamed Elhefni Ali Abdallah from Egypt, known on social media as Taher Travels, has visited Russia several times. He noted that the National Centre RUSSIA was an excellent venue for events in a wide range of formats.
"I think I have been to Russia about 16 or 17 times. I love your country, and I have been coming here since 2014. I already know quite a few Russian words. I did not know about the National Centre RUSSIA before, but it looks beautiful and luxurious. It is very large, and I think it is an ideal place for all kinds of meetings and summits. This is my first time here, and I like it. It is cool," said Taher Mohamed Elhefni Ali Abdallah.
The nevalyashka doll is one of the most recognisable symbols of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The podcast takes viewers back to a time when there were no laws or states — nothing to tell people how to live.
The new National Centre RUSSIA venue is scheduled to open in 2029, with the landscaped park due to open in 2030.
