Alexander Novak visited the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak paid a working visit to the Krasnoyarsk region. One of the key items on the agenda was a visit to the National Centre RUSSIA, which opened in the regional capital in December 2025.
The exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk was created with active involvement from representatives of the creative industries. The dynamic growth of this sector was one of the topics discussed during the Deputy Prime Minister's meeting with the Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov.
The parties discussed the results of the region's socio-economic development in 2025 and outlined further steps towards fulfilling the President's instructions, including those related to the development of the creative economy and increasing labour productivity.
The Deputy Prime Minister also visited a number of sites where preparations are already well underway for the celebration of Krasnoyarsk's 400th anniversary, which will take place in 2028.
It should be noted that the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk currently hosts a large-scale exposition "Energy of People — Energy of the Krasnoyarsk Region," spanning over five thousand square metres and featuring more than twenty thematic zones.
In addition, visitors can see how the region's industry and high technology are developing, try their hand at controlling a satellite, walk through climate capsules simulating Siberian frosts and summer heat, learn about the stories of participants in the special military operation and volunteers, and view the territory from the height of a space orbit — using a sixteen-metre model of the Krasnoyarsk region with an area of thirty square metres.
Reading contemporary literature helps to gain a deeper understanding of human experience and the modern world.
The Governor mentioned the world's largest carved wooden iconostasis, a unique biosphere reserve where Siberian cranes and bison live, the best parachute jumping site in Russia, and much more.
The official website of the National Centre RUSSIA has opened a contest-based selection for the Young Journalists School.
