Alexander Zhuravsky: "The National Centre is a model of the vision of the future"
What will the future of Russia be like — and where can its
outlines be seen today? This question was answered by Alexander Zhuravsky, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Candidate of Theology, during a meeting of the "What to Read?!" Literary Club. The event included a presentation
of the original futurological novel "Alternative".
The expert believes that looking at modern cultural spaces
helps one understand what the future will hold. As an example, he highlighted
the National Centre RUSSIA. In his opinion, it already sets the vector of development
— and in the coming years, this vision will take on even more visible forms.
"The National Centre RUSSIA is a model of the vision of
the future. Here, at the expositions, you see what lies ahead for us. And in a
few years, by 2029, a new, absolutely beautiful, futuristic — not
futurological, but specifically futuristic — building will appear here, and it
will possess realistic content," said Alexander Zhuravsky, Candidate of
Historical Sciences and Candidate of Theology.
The "What to Read?!" Literary Club is a space for
those who want not just to read, but to think independently, discuss, and learn
more about books and their authors. Joining the meeting, as well as other
"Events" at the National Centre RUSSIA, is free of charge via prior
registration on the website russia.ru.
Employees and volunteers of the National Centre RUSSIA joined the official launch ceremony of the nationwide campaign "Memory Wall", which was held at the National Centre RUSSIA this year.
On Monday, 4 May, the National Centre RUSSIA will be closed to visitors as the venue will hold its regular maintenance day.
