Alexey Chadov presented "Our Culture" at VDNH

The event was held as a part of the educational program "Excursion with Knowledge" developed by the Russian Society "Knowledge" for the International RUSSIA EXPO.

Russian actor and film director Alexey Chadov told schoolchildren and students about the achievements of modern Russian cinema and animation, about the transformation of libraries into fundamentally new multimedia cultural spaces, about virtual walks through museums and galleries, and answered all the questions of the children about modern Russian cinema. Welcoming the tour participants, he emphasized the scale of the International RUSSIA EXPO, the importance of one of its expositions - "Our Culture", as well as the contribution of the Russian Society "Knowledge" to the educational program of the exposition-forum.

"Friends, since childhood we have heard the expressions "great Russian culture", "great Russian theater", "great Russian writers and artists". These expressions have appeared for a reason, because Russian culture is an amazing world phenomenon. Russian artists, writers, directors and composers have produced hundreds of true masterpieces, their work was, is and, I am absolutely sure, will always be of interest to thinking people all over the world. And we should be proud of the fact that we are part of the great Russian culture - as spectators, listeners or as creators. But, most importantly, we should be worthy of the achievements of our outstanding compatriots", - stressed Alexey Chadov.

During the tour Chadov visited such locations as "Cinematography", "Cultural Education", "Librarianship", "Expositions and Museums" and "Digital Development of Culture". The actor spoke about the achievements of the Russian film industry. Furthermore, he noted the development of modern Russian libraries, museums and galleries. According to him, Russian libraries have long ago reached a new level and today they are fundamentally new multimedia cultural spaces where visitors can not only immerse themselves in the world of literature, but also become guests of expositions, movie screenings, concerts and lectures.

The final points of the tour were the multimedia screens, where interviews of many outstanding musicians, theater and cinema actors, heads of state museums, entertainers, sculptors, film and theater directors of our time are displayed, as well as the concert hall with the panel "Portrait of modern Russian culture". Here Alexey held a quiz for the participants and made a joint photo with the kids.

Alexey Chadov has been working in the movie industry for more than 20 years. His acting film debut took place in 2002 when the legendary film "War" by Alexey Balabanov was released, and his directorial debut took place in 2022 with the film "Own War. Storm in the Desert".
