In May 2024, the Voronezh region will host the International Animation Festival AniMakers — its presentation was held at the RUSSIA EXPO. According to the organizers' idea, the festival will become a big city family holiday, all events will be free for guests.

"There are three directions at our festival. The first is a competitive program, where short and full-length cartoons, as well as animated series are accepted. Screenings of the competitive program are held with the participation of these films. The second is the educational program. These are various masterclasses, creative meetings and discussions — exactly the things we wanted to put into the festival from the point of view of applied usefulness. There is also a business program — round tables and conferences with the participation of experts and animation industry workers", — said PR-director of the festival AniMakers Tatiana Romanova.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Visitors are presented expositions of 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations. The exposition takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to April 12.
