Artek Days at the RUSSIA EXPO: don't miss game programs from the legendary children's center
Learn to
tie nautical knots, sail a dinghy, get acquainted with the flag semaphore and
Morse code - a series of masterclasses and New Year activities from the Artek
International Children's Center has started in Pavilion No. 57 at the RUSSIA
EXPO. Children and adults can also get valuable prizes and take part in
contests dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the legendary children's center.
"From
January 3 to 14, the days of the Artek International Children's Center are held
at the RUSSIA EXPO. The camp staff - specialists in educational work, teachers
of children's art studios, instructors in physical culture, Artek counselors -
conduct numerous, interesting and diverse masterclasses and game programs.
There is a wide range of activities for children: sports, tourism, creativity
and much more. But the story does not convey the whole scope of impressions -
you have to come to Pavilion No. 57 and participate!" - said deputy head
of the Morskoi (Marine) children's camp Tatiana Savelyeva.
Everyone will be able to arrange a New Year's fireworks using a digital chemical laboratory, play marine billiards and the Russian folk game Gorodki, which is more than 400 years old. Visitors will also be taught to play darts, offered a literary game Traveling Through New Year's Fairy Tales, Poems and Stories, a virtual Artek - Year by Year tour/quiz, and much more.
Artek Days at the RUSSIA EXPO will last until January 14
Young participants of the workshop "Modelling — a Prototype with Your Own Hands," held on May 31 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The history of Russian architecture, bold concepts, and Soviet urban planning projects realised across the globe were presented to delegations of the exposition on May 31.
The award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the Future" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on June 1, International Children's Day.
