You can get a ticket to the future at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Federal
Vocational Guidance and Career Center "Ticket to the Future" was
opened at the RUSSIA EXPO in Pavilion No. 57. Any schoolchild will be able to
undergo professional testing absolutely free of charge and decide on one of the
most difficult questions of life - the future career. Registration will open
next week.
Schoolchildren
will get acquainted with free opportunities provided by the state. The center
has activities planned for children, parents and educators.
"This
is the first face-to-face center for schoolchildren in Russia, where anyone can
undergo free professional diagnostics on professions. More than four million
schoolchildren have already passed through the project. Also, the center has
opened a lecture hall called Monday Lovers Club, where meetings with
representatives from a wide range of professions and masterclasses immersing in
the intricacies of any craft will be held. It is important for schoolchildren
to hear the live stories of people in love with their profession. What does an
engineer feel when his rocket takes off into space? What does a welder dream
about? Now any question is available for schoolchildren and adult visitors: who
want to live an interesting experience together with the heroes of the
lecture," said the head of the Ticket to the Future project Ivan Esin.
In the
Vocational Guidance and Career Center guests get acquainted with the
opportunities and results of the All-Russian Ticket to the Future project,
which is implemented by the Foundation for Humanitarian Projects. Today it is
already presented in 89 regions of the country and in the city of Baikonur. For
5 years, four million schoolchildren have participated in the project
activities, and more than 60,000 teachers have become ambassadors of career
guidance in their regions.
The four
millionth participant of the project was Timofey Karachev, a student of 6-b
grade, who visited the new career guidance center.
"I was
given a test and it turned out that I have abilities in engineering, which I
didn't even know about. I really liked the test and the beautiful center!"
Timofey Karachev said.
Ticket to the Future includes a large number of tools that allow schoolchildren to make an informed choice of professional trajectory, and parents and teachers to competently support teenagers and help them develop the necessary skills.
