More than 120 YUNARMIYA members to take part in the All-Russian media forum YUNKOR
From 2 to 5 April, YUNARMIYA (Young Army) will hold the All-Russian media forum YUNKOR in Moscow. The forum will bring together more than 120 YUNARMIYA members from 29 regions of the country, who will immerse themselves in the world of modern media, engage with leading experts in the media industry, and enhance their knowledge and skills in working within the information space. The programme will include panel discussions, masterclasses and lectures delivered by professionals in journalism and media technologies. On 4 April, the forum’s events will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The main objective of the All-Russian media forum is to prepare young correspondents to cover events marking the tenth anniversary of YUNARMIYA at both regional and federal levels. The official opening of the forum will take place on 2 April. On the same day, YUNARMIYA members will take part in a quiz-format meeting with Hero of Russia Vladislav Golovin, Chief of the Main Staff of YUNARMIYA.
"Young correspondents are those who cover the life of the YUNARMIYA movement. No event takes place without their involvement. They produce video content, take photographs, appear on camera, manage social media, and thanks to their work more and more people learn about the Movement in their local communities, regions and across the country. The YUNKOR forum is an annual event that immerses young journalists in the world of media for several days, allowing them to attend valuable lectures and refine their skills in practice," said Vladislav Golovin.
The main educational day will take place on 3 April. Participants will attend the panel discussion "YUNARMIYA: 10 Years in Formation", as well as take part in masterclasses.
On 4 April, the young correspondents will visit the National Centre RUSSIA, where they will meet Irina Losik, a presenter from the Zvezda TV channel, who will speak about the work of news services. In addition, participants will be able to demonstrate their practical skills and produce video content. A meeting will also be held at the Space of Opportunities at the National Centre RUSSIA with Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and official spokesperson of the Ministry.
The All-Russian media forum will enable participants to become communication leaders, exchange experience with young correspondents from other regions, improve their media literacy, and create socially significant media content.
At present, more than 6,000 young correspondents across the country cover major patriotic events, report on historical dates, produce videos in support of participants in the special military operation, and work to counter fake news.
