"It’s a real miracle to see the veterans, and a great honour to perform for them. I saw many families with children — it is so important for them to hear these stories, to see and meet the veterans. These are wonderful encounters, thank you for organising such an event," said Polina Gagarina.
At the concert, the artist performed well-known songs such as "Somewhere Far Away" from the film "Seventeen Moments of Spring" and "Katyusha".
She also shared that another of her favourite wartime songs is "The Tenth Battalion." The singer noted that all compositions dedicated to the Great Patriotic War are grand, monumental works, filled with profound feelings, emotion and pain.
