Big winter holiday: 101 children celebrated their birthdays at the RUSSIA EXPO

On February 7, the RUSSIA EXPO hosted the "Big Children's Birthday Party. Winter Celebration at VDNH". This holiday became a real happy day for 101 children. The main participants on this day were the little guests of the exposition and children from large families who celebrated their birthdays during these winter days. The event was organized by the Russian Ministry of Labor and was timed to coincide with the thematic day "Social Policy for Childhood" at the National Achievements Forum.
First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Olga Batalina expressed warm congratulations to the young birthday kids, emphasizing the importance of children's holidays. "You have a very special, magical day today, because it is taking place in a special place - at the RUSSIA EXPO. This is an exposition of the achievements of everything that has been made by the hands, labor, talent of many generations of citizens of our country. And it is about you, because all our achievements are for the sake of your happy life. Dear families! I wish you light, happiness, warmth, family comfort, good health, and in this wonderful Year of the Family, announced by the President, I wish that everything works out in your life," said Olga Batalina.
Russian singer Irina Dubtsova made a special musical gift by singing the anthem of the Year of the Family. For the young visitors of the exposition celebrating their birthdays, she performed her new song, proclaimed the anthem of the Year of the Family. The Choir of Large Families of Moscow and creative groups performed at the festival, children's play "The Mystery of the Ice Crystal" was shown as well. Young actors - winners of all-Russian vocal contests - presented the audience an exciting story and helped children to get acquainted with the world of theater. Each little birthday child who came to the concert that day was given a smart speaker.
"Big Children's Winter Birthday Party" became an interesting event for all participants and guests of the RUSSIA EXPO on the territory of VDNH. During the day, children enjoyed not only a festive atmosphere, but also a variety of entertainment. Creative and educational workshops were organized for them. And of course, as any birthday party, it did not go without gifts and a festive photo session as a souvenir.
Pavilions of the RUSSIA EXPO on that day organized excursions specially for young guests. Children visited the expositions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia "Made by Us", Ministry of Agriculture of Russia "Eat Our Own!", Bank of Russia "Smart Finance", Sberbank of Russia "Sber".
The event was organized with the support of the Association of Families with Many Children of Moscow, the Association of Children's Artists, STREAM TV company, the Bank of Russia's partner of the "Smart Finance" pavilion - VSK Insurance House, as well as Alexei Khizhnyak, a super-finalist of the fifth season of the Leaders of Russia competition.
