The future of the design industry will be discussed at the National Centre RUSSIA
The Russian Design Industry Forum (RDIF) will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on April 15–16. Industry experts will discuss how the creative environment is currently contributing to the development of the economy. The key topics of the forum of international scale will include: support for the creative and innovative industry at the state level, regulation and adaptation of the market to global challenges, and the transformation of design under the influence of digital technologies and AI.
The forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Union of Designers of Russia, with the National Centre RUSSIA as a co-organizer. RDIF will be held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Agency for Creative Industries, and the Kosygin Russian State University.
More than 150 experts from Russia and other countries, as well as attendees of the forum programme, will explore design as a driving force behind technology and the creative transformation of the country. Participants will discuss the impact of design on the future of business and the state. The dialogue will involve development institutions, representatives of regional authorities, and leading companies of the country.
The forum programme includes a plenary session with representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, more than 20 sectoral sessions, as well as meetings, lectures, master classes, cultural events, and informal gatherings of universities. An in-person programme of the international student design competition will also take place.

The event will feature a presentation of a collection of essays written by participants of the international project "Open Dialogue: The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth."
