At the International RUSSIA EXPO, a media school was held for future journalists and media specialists. Tenth-grade students from the Economic Lyceum of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics were introduced to the workings of the RUSSIA EXPO's press center and internal television, visited studios of federal TV channels — Channel One and "Russia 1" — and attended a lecture on media content creation.

The Exposition was created, among other reasons, so that children and young people could be inspired by Russia's achievements and decide how and where they can realize their dreams, noted Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.

"Our Exposition has already been visited by over 14 million people, including hundreds of thousands of children and young people. You are always important guests to us. Everything you see at the Expositions and stands are achievements that were once just dreams of boys and girls like you. We want to inspire our young visitors to achieve great things. I wish you confidence and self-belief — then you will succeed, as Russia is a land of opportunities," Anastasia Zvyagina addressed the lyceum students.

Participants noted that such meetings help them see media production from the inside and immerse themselves in the work.

"I really liked it. What impressed me the most was seeing in person what I watch on TV every day — for example, the studios. I was interested in getting to know how professional cameras and other equipment work. And, of course, I was very impressed by the people working here — everyone is very energetic and bright, it's clear that they are creative," shared lyceum student Arina Minok.

"Such media schools are necessary: they give us more skills and practice. I think it helps to understand what suits each person better," emphasized Kira Melnichenko. "We are very glad we had the opportunity to see such a large-scale operation," added Eliza Galiyeva.

The media school concluded with a workshop where the students edited a video about their visit to the Exposition. It is expected that groups of future journalists and media specialists will visit the RUSSIA EXPO weekly.
